The historic Skol House is an outdoor music and live event space. It is the site for the Belwood Farmer’s Market held every Sunday from 10am to 3pm from May to October. Shop local. Eat local.

While Park Eats is not in the town of Belwood, it is close by and definitely deserves a mention. Head over to Maple Leaf Acres, enter the park, and go to the 5th Line south side of Belwood Lake. They are open seasonally from May 1st. Hours are 11:30AM to 4PM with breakfast served on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Great place for brekkie with a lovely patio with picnic tables. The Belwood & District Lions Club spearhead fundraising events including the annual Belwood Lions Pike & Walleye Derby.

The Belwood Lake Car Club hosts a classic car show annually – held in the Belwood Ball Diamond. It’s a real winner!

Remembrance Day ceremonies are held annually at the Belwood Cenotaph.

The closest waste facility for Lake Belwood cottagers is the Belwood Waste Facility on Wellington Road 19.

The Belwood post office is located on Wellington Road 19. It used to be located on George Street in Belwood until it was destroyed by fire. The staff at the Fergus post office located at 299 St. Andrew St. W. are very efficient and customer service-oriented.
